Yep, that's the headline! It's not a particularly new headline, as I believe the eruption began on June 8, but none of us new about this, we've been living in our own little world, watching Portuguese television (or none at all) and not really understanding anything. It turns out the cloud of ash from this volcano has made it impossible to fly through southern Brasil. While we are currently in northern Brasil, the only route OUT is via the south. Therefore, we are grounded until further notice.
